So the question of how to increase link mentions for your website is a big deal to many smal business as it should be. Small business owners are constantly looking for ways to leverage the growing influence of social networks to increase visits to their website and ultimately sales.
Brightedge recently released a report based on research comprising of over 4 million randomly sampled tweets. What they found was that companies that had tweet button installed had almost 7X more link mentions on average than sites that didn’t.

DiggDigg – is another great way to to share content across the different social bookmarking sites from on your WordPress blog. This plugin has a been around for a while and allows you a lot of configuration options including where you want to place the buttons.
SexyBookmarks – adds animated social bookmarking icons to your articles. This plugin has been around a while and I remember when I was using it when I first started out.
